1/3/2018 - KUMQUAT HARVEST - (22 1/2 lbs off one tree) I'll be freezing some of it to try and make Kumquat Wine later, using Jack Keller's recipe online. The rest I'll be dehydrating for a high vitamin C snack over the winter. I call it my Kumquat Candy, it's so sweet and delicious...no sugar needed!It takes 5 lbs fresh, sliced kumquats on my 7 dehydrator trays to fill a 1/2 gallon size canning jar.Hoo Hoo Acres, Southeast Texas
