12/21/2017 - LARC'S ACADIAN VILLAGE, LAFAYETTE, LOUISIANA - What a great time with family, but what a sorry time with my camera. I just couldn't capture all that beauty with my darn camera.
What a great place it is to bring kids with the beautiful Christmas lights, a Santa Claus, live music from local musicians, carnival rides, gumbo, jambalaya, cotton candy and funnel cakes, and more. It is actually ran by volunteers and all the proceeds are used to benefit people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They try and help them live a more independent lifestyle. Now how awesome is that?
I picked out a few photos, including a few of my peeps who went with us to show you just how much fun, instead of making you suffer through all 300 of them. No need to thank me, your very welcome! None of these are even printable. They are all grainy. At least I tried, right? Better luck to me next time!
