9/1/2017 - BORD DU LAC PARK, Lake Charles, Louisiana - We evacuated and waited out the rising Texas rivers from the dam openings after Hurricane Harvey and stumbled upon this beautiful park. Brought the grandies to Millennium Park and right around the corner was a smorgasbord of birds. What a surprise! Of course, we didn't eat any. It was a photo opportunity! They weren't scared of us at all.
