Rappler is a regional Southeast Asia media outlet that, during the time Rodrigo Duterte was President of the Philippines, fancied themselves as a "bastion" and "champion" of "free speech" for Filipinos.
Jump to now, and META is ending their "fact checking" contract with Rappler and several of the other organizations Rappler provided "fact checking" for as "sub contractors" and they are openly advocating censorship.
It has ALWAYS been about money and NOT about "free speech."
