If you need another example of why LA is going up in flames, here it is. A video from the Los Angeles Fire Department shows the deputy chief, a diversity-equity-inclusion overweight lesbian, saying if you need to be rescued, it’s your fault: You were “in the wrong place.” Deputy Fire Chief Kristine Larson says the department priority is that residents in crisis are rescued by first responders that “look like” them. She, or it says, “You want to see somebody that responds to your house, your emergency—whether it’s a medical call or a fire call—that looks like you. It gives that person a little bit more ease, knowing that somebody might understand their situation better.” Really? If I'm waiting for emergency medical assistance, a heart attack, a serious injury where I'm bleeding like a river, or my house is going up in flames, etc., I could care less what the responder looks like or what gender they are, only that they are qualified and experienced in handling these emergencies. Larson continues. “‘Is she strong enough to do this,'” Larson asked, rhetorically answering criticism she has heard. “Or ‘You couldn’t carry my husband out of a fire.’ Which my response is, ‘He got himself in the wrong place if I have to carry him out of a fire.'” Kristine, you're in the wrong f***ing place. Unf***ing believable. This is why LA is burning and people are dying. Shit like this.
