Believing As You Go OnOften in our Christian life we are called on by God to go on, no matter how difficult it must be. We must believe as we go on. This is definitely challenging, keeping our faith in God strong as we continue on.John 4:46-51“So Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at Capernaum. When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death. Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe. The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die.Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way. And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth.”The nobleman believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him. He went his way and believed as he went. I wonder what he thought along the way. We must be careful in thinking that he had doubts, because he believed the word Jesus spoke. One of the biggest challenges to my walk with God is to believe as I go on for God. Like this man, we do not see the work of God done until we get to where we are going. The Christian is on his or her way to heaven, and each step we take is a step of faith. We go on in life, we must believe, we must take God at His Word as we go!
