US Navy 1971 - 1977 ABH2 Basic - GLNTC "A" School - Millington NAS Duty Station - USS AUSTIN LPD-4 Ship was a troop carrier, an UBER for the Marines. Had around 350 Navy and could carry up to 2500 Marines and all their equipment - Amtracs, Helos, Cannons and such. Made 23 different countries in 6 years. Had more good times than bad but it was an adventure and I enjoyed it.
