A Collect for the Evening ALMIGHTY GOD, we give thee thanks for surrounding us, as daylight fades, with the brightness of the vesper light; and we implore thee of thy great mercy that, as thou hast enfold us with the radiance of this light, so thou would shine into our hearts the brightness of thy Holy Spirit; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with thee and the Holy Spirit, One God, Now and Forever, Indeed. AMEN
