I bought a Typhus digital thermometer for my Christmas last November for myself since I pit smoke beef as a hobby. I stored it in my bib on my coveralls I wear when I smoke. I stupidly washed it the next day and destroyed the probe. The electronics are waterproof and still worked but the probe had snapped. I notified them I'd buy the probe part if possible. They are sending me a whole new unit today via UPS so I can have it before Christmas FOR FREE! REMEMBER THESE PEOPLE IF YOU NEED A THERMOMETER !
