12/10/2020 - I'm in the market for a new juicer. I currently have the Omega VSJ843RS, purchased about 2 years ago for $350.00. No complaints what-so-ever, except the on/off button has broken twice now. Sure, they warranted the juicer even after a year, but it still cost us $100 to ship it back to them for an "even" exchange for a new one...haha...how dumb are we? Here I borrowed my daughters for a comparison test. She's only been using her Ventray 809 (paid $220.00) for about a week, so now the comparison test...and it looks like it produced the exact same amount of spinach juice from a 6.1 lb batch for each juicer. ---------- OMEGA VSJ843RS Vertical Slow Masticating Juicer (Discontinued! The new version, VSJ843QS = $394.72, has a new on/off button design on the side of the machine now, instead of in the back.) 43 RPM 150 watt motor Super quiet Have to cut veggies really small...OR YOU BREAK THE ON/OFF BUTTON LIKE I DID TWICE NOW VENTRAY 809 Vertical Slow Masticating Juicer 65 RPM 240 watt motor A little bit noisier, but not too bad Makes nut milks LAST PHOTO: "Spinach and Lemon Juice Shots" 1 lb. spinach, juiced 1/2 large lemon, juiced Mix and pour into 1-2 oz shot containers. PS: My heart may already be set on the EVO820 KUVING. And don't ask how much that will cost.
