2. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 3. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.4. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believe that Jesus is the Son of God?1 John 5:2-5 Being born of God is our source of love. If we are of Christ we will love His followers by keeping His commandments. If we are not changed in heart and spirit, we are not submitted to Christ. Those who say I follow Christ but who do not obey are a great hindrance and act as a drag. Which inhibits the spiritual progress of believers. Loving Christ is the beginning of loving everyone who believes. Those who do not keep Christ's commands are of little effective use to Christ's followers. Christ's commands are easy if our love is true. Christ gave His very best and we should do likewise. Some already know this. Some must discover for themselves. Christ is our source of Victory. We overcome the world because Christ is with us. Christ did everything we needed to get us to heaven. We get to heaven knowing and trusting that Christ is the Son of God for us. Amen.
