Even so many years after our loss of our mom, I still miss the things that myself and so many others take for granted. That phone call to hear her talk about things that bored me to death, that laugh that always made her look like she was Chinese, and the comfort of knowing when my life wasn't going well that she would always make time to comfort me. Things that you make the very wrong assumptions about always being there. I guess I took it for granted because mom had been there my entire life, so I couldn't actually comprehend her not being there anymore. Happy heavenly 72 birthday mom. We love and miss you. Sure wish I could make that phone call again. ??????
