A wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain will develop across north-central Wisconsin tonight. Roads may become snow covered and slippery. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Vilas County, beginning late this evening.
Snow will continue over north-central Wisconsin most of Monday before diminishing late. The snow may mix with sleet in the morning. Rain will change to snow over central Wisconsin on Monday, with minor snow accumulations. Roads in some areas may be snow covered and slippery, especially across far northern Wisconsin. A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect on Monday morning for Vilas County.
Colder conditions are expected late this week into next weekend. Subzero wind chills will be possible over much of the area Friday night and Saturday night.
