The Gospel Of Jesus Christ According To Your Life
2 Corinthians 3:3
“Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.”
Years ago, I had a young man share with me the burden he had for his unsaved father. He asked for me to pray for him and his dad. He said, “I am the only Bible my dad will ever read.”
That is quite a burden for a young man to carry. I am not sure if this young man had read or understood our text verse. He was a young Christian himself, but he was desiring to live out 2 Corinthians 3:3.
Unsaved people do not generally read the Bible or go to church, so as Christians we need to share the Gospel with them. As a Christian, every part about our life should reflect the life of Jesus Christ.
Can the Gospel of Jesus Christ be read through your life?
Can the Gospel be read in your words, your actions, your view towards what is going on in the world, and your attitude?
When your words spoken are heard and your life is read and studied, does it all reflect the Gospel of Jesus Christ?
What our world needs to hear and see from us who are Christians is the life of Jesus Christ.
Can those who live in your world, those who know you and the stranger you meet, see Jesus Christ living through you?
Are you a living epistle of the Gospel of Jesus Christ?
