11-15-'24, ''Banned on Rumble'', ''Hillbilly Friday'', (pics on wimkin) Progress update: Still a lot of buttoning up to do, but no damage from the snow (last week). The ''porch monkey'' (I'm taking it back) has been sealed for the most part, to route the air under/preheated to 50F the floor through leaking patio door (with solar assist) into the 5'' duct (now painted black for morning sun), leaking out slots cut in the top, to travel though the roof deck (in the proposed contained billboard and leftover refrigerator door plastic area), and increasing the intake air into the heat pump as ''warm'' as practical. No moving parts on this preconditioning system, the air temp will become the the motor for the fluid move, from under floor decking intake, to the downspout for cooled air to exit. The skylight will be covered, but have a slot for the morning sun on the north side of the building. FYI, I will only be posting on Friday here until after the first of the year. I am also working a multi-media project and looking at the tech required. 8:30 here with 74F on blacked door, and 64F on the patio floor, and 66F in the duct intake. Smoke ém if ya got ém (and the patio door has a good seal).
