1 Thessalonians 5:6 - Therefore let us not s l e e p, as do others; but let us watch and be s o b e r.S L E E P I N G or W A T C H I N G: The Bible always has a way to identify you: faithful, trustworthy, loving, caring, compassionate, and if so, you are one who understands what it means to 'watch and be sober'.However, if you are not faithful, trustworthy, etc., then the Bible identifies you as a s l e e p e r.Those that are in a d e e p s l e e p do not read their Bible, or attend to sound teachings from sound preachers, at a Bible believing church. The results: you will e a s i l y be deceived and even to the point you can even deceive yourself.W a t c h and be s o b e r, which means you are to be alert (watch) to God's ways, truth and direction and then you know how to behave (sober) as you sojourn through life here on earth.
