2 Thessalonians 1:4 (KJV) -- So that we ourselves glory in y o u in the c h u r c h e s of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: YOU & The CHURCH: This pic is often seen on FB. It contains truth but it is e q u a l l y false when the physical church is neglected.You can n o t be the church while you are consistently skipping or neglecting to be in church.For some strange reason, people desire to be the church while never being faithful to a church.Just do a search on 'churches' in the New Testament and you will find out that church is i m p o r t a n t.Now, if you are n o t in and serving in a local church, then you are n o t in submission to God, so how are you b e i n g the church when you don't go to church. If you are n o t in church, you are n o t in fellowship with GOD or other Christians.If you are n o t in church, you are living in rebellion to God's purpose for the Body of Christ (Church).If you are n o t in church, you are have elevated your thoughts above God's thoughts for Church.If you are n o t in church then you've positioned yourself to be above the God's ordained man (Pastor) who is called to be your Shepherd.If you are n o t in church, and then claim to be the church, then you've deceived yourself with excuses and lies to support your absence from House of God.Now, I could continue to say more, but I hope you understand that God builds and changes lives through his C h u r c h which is a physical location.So, if you want to change the w o r l d, let all know you are the church by being faithful to preaching, singing, praying, praising, giving and serving God and others through a local Church.
