Did you know that firefly larvae live in fall leaves? This year, if you want to have a leaf free yard, please leave a corner for the leaf pile to hang out instead of mulching them. We need as many pollinators as possible! Also, studies have shown that grass survives just fine under a layer of leaves. It's a win win!
