Luke 11:32 -- REPENTED -- The men of Nineve shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here. REPENTED: We all should be able to remember the story of Jonah, his journey away from God and then his r e t u r n to God's ways by going to Nineve to Preach. Nineveh responded to Jonah's preaching but the men, women and religious zealots of Jesus' Day refused to l i s t e n. Who was greater? Jonah or Jesus? Of course it was Jesus!!!TODAY: We still have a g r e a t e r than Jonas here - The Church - The Gospel - The completed Bible (KJV).The Church is n o t the T.V., not a podcast and n o t a YouTube channel. The Church is b o t h, a local congregation and a group of people gather at a specified place u n d e r the call of a pastor who leads the flock. Sheep have a Shepherd -- this is Basic Bible 101. Sheep left alone can not S h e p h e r d themselves and if you attempt to accept/teach this falsehood then you are arguing with God, not the writer of this devotion. Now, some i g n o r a n t and selfish Christians will quote the verse, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them - Matthew 18:20" -- as if this is a law to allow them to s t a y and to S h e p h e r d themselves at home. This is a total horrendous interpretation of Matthew 18:20.The context of v e r s e 20 begins up in v e r s e 15 that deals with how to deal with trouble in the church or a trouble maker. You begin with taking two or three to the one who has trespassed - Verse 16.If they n e g l e c t to 'hear' thee, take it to the church - Vs 17.If they n e g l e c t to 'hear' the church, treat them as a heathen and publican - Vs 17.Vs 18 & 19 - If you bind (agreement) something, then that indicates it is bound in agreement or judgment concerning the person who has trespassed. If you loose something, then you release it to 'go' their 'own' way as Jesus did with the publicans and religious ones like Judas. There are some people who will never submit themselves to a pastor/church and God tells the church to let them 'loose'.Verse 20 - KJV -- For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. When the two/three come from the church to bind or loose a wayward person, then God is in the midst of them: the two/three. The two/three are p r e a c h i n g repentance to the wayward fool who is acting like a heathen or publican (monetized preachers/Christians - who teach and preach for $$$$$). God will always be in the m i d s t of those who go out 'f r o m' the church and not with those who have isolated themselves from the church. So, if you chosen to i s o l a t e yourself f r o m the church then you are in trouble with God and not blessed by God for your false view of Repentance and your interpretation of Matthew 18.
