1 Peter 2:24 (KJV) Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose STRIPES ye were healed.HEALED: Our h u r t has no comparison to the hurt, pain, suffering and humiliation that Jesus suffered. The more good he did for others the more he was hated. He was r e j e c t e d by his own. He was m o c k e d by his own. He was b e t r a y e d by his own. He was sacrificed by his own, yet he loved them until the end. Now, if you think you’ve been h u r t, then compare your situation with his. I’m sure nothing that has happened to you can c o m p a r e to his hurt and yet he loved and forgave all they crucified him. So, quit the e x c u s e s about church hurt and what others have done to you. Your idea of ‘c h u r c h h u r t’ won’t hold water when you stand before Jesus who was truly physically HURT and spiritually HURT as he tasted death for every person. ALSO THE APOSTLE: 2 Corinthians 11:23 (KJV) Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I [am] more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft. They e x p e r i e n c e d hurt, pain, resentment, rejection, cold, hunger, beatings, prison but did the cry about someone forgetting their birthday, or to call them when they were sick?Christian had better grow up and l e a r n that heaven doesn’t dwell on what you might call: “Church Hurt”
