1 Peter 2:24 (KJV) Who his o w n self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
ON THE TREE (Cross): Salvation is 'by' Jesus.
Only he could ‘bare’ your sins on the cross.
The scriptures are clear: “… his O W N self bare our sins in his O W N body…”
It’s by w h a t he did and not by w h a t you can do or desire to do.
Your are not a co-savior in your salvation. Your church is not a co-savior in your salvation.
There are no c o - s a v i o r s allowed because it was O N L Y Jesus who h u n g on the cross, who p a i d your ransom, who b o r e your sins, who o f f e r s redemption, who provides the propitiation, who r e c o n c i l e s you, who j u s t i f i e s you and most of all: Who c o n q u e r e d death that we might have life through salvation that o n l y comes by him.
Salvation is only p r o v i d e d by the Saviour which e x c l u d e s all others to include yourself.
Now, if you attempt to a d d to the cross then you declare to the world that the death, his atonement, of Jesus was n o t sufficient. This is b l a s p h e m e to claim that the death of Jesus was i n s u f f i c i e n t and that God the Father needs you to complete your salvation!
Romans 5:18 (KJV) Therefore as by the offence of ONE [judgment came] upon ALL men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of ONE [the FREE gift came] upon ALL men unto justification of life.
