A Collect for the Night GRACIOUS AND MOST HEAVENLY FATHER, we give thanks to thee for the passing of this day and the coming of the dawn of tomorrow; we are blessed and thankful for this evening and this night as thou shalt watch over us and to keep all evil from entering into our hearts and souls; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with thee and the Holy Spirit, One God, Now and Forever, Indeed.
