So Harris now generally claims her presidency "would not be a continuation of Joe Biden's" after specifically saying she would not have done anything differently from Biden on "The View," "Stephen Colbert" and "Charlamagne Tha God? Yeah, that self-contradicting tactic proved as vacuously ineffective as the Democrats had feared. Unlike Vance, Harris was not able to both answer questions while pivoting to a preferred context. Instead, Harris clumsily answered questions never asked while opposing arguments never asserted - and it showed. Harris's thus far biggest chance to move the needle was squandered.
