#Repost from The Social Media Delinquent Might I Opine:I wonder who advised Kamala that it would be a winning move to record a video for the Al Smith Catholic charity dinner using a well-known SNL character Mary Katherine Gallagher. Has Kamala never watched SNL over the last couple of decades? Does she not know that that is a caricature of a Catholic schoolgirl mocking and making fun of Catholics? Why didn’t she just do a skit with a Catholic priest and a young boy because that would be at the same level as what she did last night. Now with that being said, I should probably mention I am not Catholic, so it is not personally offensive to me, but if you’re going to make an attempt to sway the Catholic vote, you probably shouldn’t use a character that is known to mock them. Just another example of how out of touch she is. Kamala put in the absolute least amount of effort possible for that performance. A group of writers wrote a three minute script where she spoke for about a minute. If she’s elected, that will be indicative of what her presidency will be like as well. Just like Joe Biden, everyone else will be running the country while he shows up at events to be the face of the administration. We need a leader, not a script reader. (DL)
