(VFV).OUR REQUEST! Some individuals are hesitant to join our meetings because of the stigma and judgment they've faced with their invisible wounds and we want to reach those people. We are asking everyone to share who we are and what support Victory for Veterans provides via WFL. If you know someone who is a veteran, first responder or a family member/caregiver, please ask them to join us for at least one meeting so they can learn more about what we do and how they can share their wisdom with others who may be able to learn from them. It’s come as you are and when you can to help those who have walked the same path. Since it’s an on-line community, participants can leave their cameras off and just listen if that is more comfortable. Sometimes, that’s what people need. We have found that once people are comfortable, they will open up and share their experiences which not only helps them, but it also helps others who may think no one will understand.
