This is HLC Lindero aka Chinook. A Peruvian stallion in our sanctuary. He was very well cared for and very much loved by his original owner. Chinook was shown and was treated with respect and dignity as any animal should. Unfortunatly his owner passed away suddenly and the family could not afford the care of the horses. They responsibly rehomed the horses. We have another that came to us before Chinook(ill post about Mac later today)Chinook was homed with a man that ended up starving and injuring him?. The family heard about this and pulled Chinook from where he was and brought him to us??Before pics of Chinook in comments
