(Proverbs 3:34)When a person works an eight-hour job and receives a fair day's pay for their time, that is a WAGE.When a person competes with an opponent and receives a trophy for their performance, that is a PRIZE.When a person receives appropriate recognition for their long service or high achievements, that is an AWARD.Ah, but when a person is not capable of earning a WAGE, can win no PRIZE, and deserves no AWARD, but receives the gift of eternal life, that folks, is GRACE!To be sure, our worst days are never so bad that we are beyond the Reach of God's Grace, and our best days are never so good that we aren't in need of the Righteousness of God's Grace.Friends, it doesn't matter one iota who you are or what you have done, the Grip of God's Grace can bend down into any gutter and bring up a jewel.
