THEORIES AND CONSPIRACIES ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE AND WEATHER CONTROL
I was reminded this morning of the chaotic and nonlinear nature of our climate and the weather that is produced on our planet.
The idea behind climate stabilism or climate control, Weather Control is a completely false premise which stems from the fact that weather and climate systems are inherently chaotic and non-linear. In chaotic systems, small variations in initial conditions can lead to vastly different outcomes. Weather is a classic example of such a system. It can be influenced by an immense number of variables, from ocean currents and solar radiation to atmospheric chemistry and volcanic activity. Given this complexity, the notion that we can perfectly stabilize or control the climate or the weather unrealistic, desipte any technologies we may dream up in our conspiratorial minds. There are simply too many variables that govern these incredible natural forces, yet people believe that such forces can be altered or directed. Climate Alarmists, as well as those who mistakenly believe in the various theories of man-made weather events fail to grasp the magnitude of such chaotic, nonlinear systems.
The idea of “averaging” weather conditions to predict long-term climate trends also raises concerns from this viewpoint. Averaging implies that past weather data can be used to make meaningful predictions about future conditions, assuming a level of predictability that chaotic systems do not possess. While climate models are useful for understanding general trends and potential future scenarios, critics argue that the unpredictability of weather makes it impossible to control or stabilize the climate in the way some might hope.
Thus the critique is that the natural variability and chaotic behavior of weather systems make both the expectation of stable climate control and the reliance on averaging weather data for predictive stability is based on flawed or overly simplistic assumptions.
I place Climate Cultists on par with Weather Conspiracists.
