Somehow, I deleted the original post. The picture on the left shows the base plate mounts to a portable full duty cycle air compressor on the right. We use these out on the Jeep trail to air up our tires after a run. The base plate mounts to the bottom of the air compressor with the rubber isolator as the unit vibrates when an operation. The air compressor is 12 volt and just clips to the battery terminals.Thank you William and thank you Robert for your suggestions.

If you're having a difficult time getting fittings in hole if liquid soap doesn't help, I suggest using double sided tape or silicone putty. It can easily be removed. Without the vibration isolator it's going rattle big time.
