YOU JUST NEVER KNOW Several months ago a lady visited our church several times, got under conviction, and finally knelt and received Jesus as her Saviour. She kept visiting for a while, then the devil threw some extra troubles into her life and she stopped coming. A few visits were made and prayers were offered to get her back in church, but to no avail. It has probably been four or five months since having her in church and a couple months since a visit to her home. Then TODAY I received a phone call from her that went something like this... "Hi,this is _________. I just had to call and give you some great news! I know I haven't been to church in a while and my life isn't what it needs to be, but I had to tell you what happened today. A friend of mine called from a grocery store parking lot and asked me point blank how to be saved! I remembered very well the things that you told me that day when I was saved, so I went over the whole thing with her, explaining that only by receiving Jesus Christ could she be saved. The woman prayed over the cell phone and received Jesus. I feel so happy to be able to help others the way you folks helped me. Just had to call and tell you." Friend, THIS is how God works. He doesn't need high-pressure religious salesmen to MAKE things happen; He needs saints and servants who are faithful with the word of God and prayer, people who know how to do THEIR part and then get out of the way so the Holy Spirit can do HIS part. This lady still had some of our literature to give to her new convert, You just never know. Isaiah 55:11, Ecclesiastes 11:1.
