According to the Vanderburgh County Health Department, 60+ local events have voluntarily cancelled plans since Governor Eric Holcomb announced limitations for social gatherings of 50 people last week. New liability responsibilities are now also in effect for event organizers to ensure compliance w/ #COVID19 safety guidelines.
In addition, Mayor Lloyd Winnecke has also been in direct communication with the Indiana State Fire Marshal, who will be working with State Excise to assist enforcement of Governor Eric Holcomb's requirements regarding social distancing, spacing between tables, proper permitting and #COVID19 capacity levels at restaurants/bars.
