Add a bit of island airline advertising to your train layout. This is an artwork reproduction of the original Peninsular Airport billboard that stands near Port Clinton, Ohio. The sign was probably erected in the 1940?s when the Tri-Motor Tin Goose still flew regular service to South Bass and Middle Bass Islands ? and the trip only cost ONE DOLLAR!! For years the sign was covered over by other billboards, but around the year 2000, all the paper was removed and there was the original metal sign! #railroading #modeltrains #portclintonoh #putinbay #islandlife
