Romans 5:18 (KJV) Therefore as by the offence of one [judgment came] upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of o n e [the FREE gift came] upon all men unto justification of life.JUSTIFICATION OF LIFE: It’s not a p r o c e s s but an event of God that happens at Salvation. When you have faith in the Gospel. No person can create/produce their ‘justification’ before God or that would make you equal with God. Justification is a d e c l a r a t i o n of a judgment that can only come from God himself based upon the atonement made by his son, Jesus Christ at Calvary. Only the a t o n e m e n t (shed blood of Jesus) can atone for sin. Sanctification d i f f e r s in that it’s a process of keeping your life ‘set apart’ from this world. This is why some think ‘works’ are required for salvation. Works demonstrate your s a n c t i f i c a t i o n not justification. When these two are c o n f u s e d it affects your view of salvation. Justification is by o n e: Jesus => Romans 5:15 (KJV) But not as the offence, so also [is] the FREE gift. For if through the offence of o n e many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, [which is] by O N E M A N, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.ONE MAN NOT TWO! When you add yourself into the salvation process then you c o r r u p t the gospel. There will always be ‘o n e w a y’ to heaven and it’s only through Jesus and not through my personal goodness or good works: Galatians 2:16 (KJV) Knowing that a man is N O T justified by the works of the law, BUT by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified BY the faith of Christ, and N O T by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall NO flesh be justified.
