This is Queenie. It's hard to believe that I held her in the palm of my hand at just two minutes old. That was 10 years ago.
She's been living with Mom for 4-5 years now. I had to move her here to save her life.
Her story.....
One day, while I was at work, a social worker came to my home thinking she was at the neighbor's across the street.
Queenie greeted her and walked her to the porch but wouldn't allow her to get on the porch. (I know this because of the testimony from the social worker, Queenie won't even discuss this.)
The woman pushed her way past Queenie and she got bit.
When I got home, my back door was wide open and Queenie was nowhere to be found. I assumed she went hunting and I just didn't shut the door good as I left, but after two days I got worried and started calling around.
Turns out the sheriff came and took her to be placed in quarantine. No one even tried to contact me. After a few days I was allowed to pick her up. That night I was arrested for harboring a vicious animal. I bonded out and went to court where the judge told me to turn her over or face 30 days in jail.
Well....here she is, happy and healthy. I was allowed to serve the 30 days on work release....so it didn't cause me to loose my home or my job.
Oh...and FYI... Queenie isn't vicious, she's protective and was doing her job. I will always stand up for those I love, and I'll fight injustice to protect them.

I wanted to share this story so everyone would understand...not every "conviction" is justified. Someone's criminal record may show a "conviction", but it doesn't tell the whole story. Neither Queeine nor i was guilty, but we're both criminals on paper. Oh.... BTW. The judge knew i was fos....... View More
