All, it was an extremely rough morning. At 5:17 AM ET, our website and apps started experiencing a government level DDoS attack. We pulled our database nodes offline to protect your data until we were able to ward off the attack. Not a single point of data was compromised, and all of your information is safe. While I absolutely LOVE hearing from each of you and that you feel on a level with me to be able to call and text me, when we are down for any reason, I can assure you that I am aware. I received over 7,000 emails, texts, and calls from 5:30 AM - 9:45 AM. This isn't an exaggerated number. I had 6,000+ emails alone. In a situation such as this, that isn't helpful as it causes me issues while working and needing my devices.I ask that everyone using the apps, to PLEASE turn on their PUSH NOTIFICATIONS. To do such, please follow these instructions:1) Exit the Wimkin App2) On your device, go find your Wimkin app icon3) Long Press the App Icon4) Open App Info - Permissions - Notifications5) Turn on Push NotificationsPlease do these simple steps so you can stay in the know. It's super important you receive these communications. A push notification will keep you updated via the app and will send you a status message similar to a text message that will show on your device as a notification. Thank you.
