If you can only bake 5 kinds of cookies for a Christmas plate, which would you choose? Mine is Chocolate Crinkles, Russian Teacakes, Soft Molasses Cookies, Thumbprints, and Big Fat PB Oatmeal. (Those I add whatever add-ins, so it is my Everything Cookie!) Feel free to post a recipe so the rest of us, can bake and share as well. Betty Crocker Chocolate Crinkles are a must. I take so many pictures of them because they are so beautiful. Chocolate Crinkles1 C Oil4 oz Unsweetened Baking Chocolate, (melted and cooled)2 C Sugar2 tsp Vanilla4 Eggs2 C Flour2 tsp Baking Powder1 tsp SaltPowdered SugarIn a large bowl mix together oil, baking chocolate, sugar, and vanilla. Beat in eggs, one at a time. In a medium bowl combine dry ingredients. In a medium bowl whisk together dry ingredients. Mix into chocolate mixture until fully mixed. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours. With a cookie scoop, make each ball. Roll into Powdered Sugar coating well. Place on a Parchment lined baking sheet. Do not flatten.Bake 350? 9-11 minutes. When done, a soft touch with a finger will not stay indented. Cool 3-5 minutes on the pan, then remove to a cooling rack. Standard size makes 5 dozen. These bake fabulously at larger sizes, adjust the time. I like 2.3 oz.These are best eaten in two or three days.
