I wanted today's run to be slow and easy, and in the woods somewhere. Wound up down at the mountain bike course because every other wooded trail in this area is packed on the weekends now. Only saw a few mountain bikers the whole time. I walked half of it, since i was trying to keep my heart rate low. I usually run the course just short of lactate threshold. Interesting, and relaxing, run today. Which begs the question when does trail running become hiking? Half? Or if a person runs even 10% does it count as a run?
