*** The Gospel ***1 Corinthians 15:3 (KJV) For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ DIED for our sins according to the scriptures; VS 4 (KJV) And that he was BURIED, and that he ROSE AGAIN the third day according to the scriptures:THE GOSPEL: It’s w h a t Christ did for you: He DIED for your sin. This is something you can’t do. ONLY Jesus can a t o n e for sin. No one else can nor can you atone for your own sin. Only he was b u r i e d but then r e s u r r e c t e d on the third day. Sin had no power over him to keep him in the grave. Therefore, salvation only b e l o n g s to the Saviour. Salvation is n o t in your church. Salvation is n o t within yourself.Salvation is n o t in baptism. Salvation is n o t found in your works. Salvation comes f r o m the Saviour, who died for you on the cross as he bore the Sins of the world. Only Jesus could do this and only faith 'in' what the has done can get you to heaven.Romans 5:1 (KJV) Therefore being JUSTIFIED by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:Romans 5:9 (KJV) Much more then, being now JUSTIFIED by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.Galatians 2:16 (KJV) Knowing that a man is n o t JUSTIFIED by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be JUSTIFIED by the faith of Christ, and n o t by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall n o flesh be JUSTIFIED.Galatians 3:11 (KJV) But that no man is JUSTIFIED by the law in the sight of God, [it is] evident: for, The just shall live by faith.Titus 3:7 (KJV) That being JUSTIFIED by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
