It's a psychological phenomenon called "imposter's syndrome" in this case brought about by a legitimate case of self-doubt. Kamala wants the title but doesn't want the job or the responsibility that comes with it.She knows she is not up to the task. That's why for her only interview...trust me there will be no others...she had to bring assistant coach Walz with her. She needed a security blanket, a friendly network and still did poorly. Kamala lacks the intelligence, work ethic and confidence to be president and no one knows this more than the candidate herself.
