ROCKOLLECTIONS: UNCOMMON BEATLES COVERS PT.2
Well I said I would blow your mind in this Episode.
In the 1980's a Retro Rock band called Big Daddy made albums where they would put an Oldies Sound to Modern Pop Songs, they were unconnected kind of parody songs.
1992 was the 25th Anniversary of the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, and Big Daddy had their reason for a concept album, their own Sgt. Pepper!
And what if the album opened up...oh in the style of the Coasters?
We'll listen from there and you'll catch on right away, with the songs in the order of the original Side 1 vinyl version.
Give a listen, Big Daddy is a creative and unusually capable Band!
Next time I do one of these, I'll continue with Side 2.
