Romans 6:16 (KJV) Know ye not, that to whom ye Y I E L D yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto d e a t h, or of obedience unto righteousness?
YIELD: There will come a time when God will 'give you' over to your sinful ways/thoughts since you've y i e l d e d to the desires for sinfulness.
Once you A R E your sin, your life will fade into d a r k n e s s as your sin drains your life of all blessings and comfort.
So, you can either r e p e n t or follow your sin u n t o your death.
God will n e v e r force you to give up your sin but he waits for you to repent that he might forgive and h e a l you from your sinfulness.
Forgiveness from God is easy, but h e a l i n g is were everyone struggles. H e a l i n g can o n l y happen when you repent, not just by saying: 'I'm Sorry', but through r e s t i t u t i o n:
** Exodus 22:12 -- And if it be stolen from him, he shall M A K E restitution u n t o the owner thereof.
** Acts 3:21 - Whom the heaven must receive u n t i l the times of r e s t i t u t i o n of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
Until you r e p a i r what you've broken, you will be scarred with sin and you w i l l feel it's affects until to make restitution of all things.
