# Repost - things found while wandering the internet cesspools.🤦

A GINORMOUS thank you to everyone who came out for the last packaging party for Banned Books Back! Here we are posing with the FINAL individual package we sent out: lucky number 2,313 🍀
In the coming weeks and months, we plan to share some retrospectives on this effort as well as our final estimates on the number of books we distributed. But in the meantime, please allow us to extend our appreciation to all the folks who made this unlikely endeavor come to fruition!
Thank you to Perfection Learning for deciding to save these books from being pulped in the first place. To Haymarket Books, Penguin Random House, Lee & Low Books, and Penny Candy Books for sending additional copies when the number of requests outstripped the books we had on hand. To Julie and Jeannie for writing thoughtful reading guides to prompt critical engagement with the materials we sent out. To Des for creating our iconic possum mascot. To Off Color Decals for high-quality printing at solidarity pricing. To Eternia Press for allowing us to freely distribute copies of the wonderful zine "I Am a Unicorn and I Like to Fight." To Mergoat Magazine for creating the eye-catching title page for our own zine. To Savim Bakery for keeping our volunteers well fed with delicious vegan treats during almost all the packaging parties. To Food Not Bombs Jacksonville for distributing so many books as well as the robust network of little free libraries on the fronlines of book access in Florida. To Cindy Barukh Milstein for coordinating an incredible number of moving pieces throughout the project. And of course to all the wonderful folks who uplifted, reshared, donated, and packaged. It is unusual to experience such a successful and inspiring example of grassroots direct action!
Our gratitude cannot be overstated 🖤
