The Skull of a Moche Male (450ad) that we excavated on an Archaeological dig near Trujillo in Northern Peru. You can even see that this person wore red face paint continuously , which has eventually stained parts of his skull. I think the paint was made from crushed local iron containing rock. It's possible this person was sacrificed as we could only find the top half of the body.........
