Washington Post is upset with Musk letting X have alarmist posts about immigration and missives against “woke” ideology. The term "woke" was originally about demonstrating an alertness to actual racism and bigotry vs nonsensically asserting that it's "systemic" (i.e., of a system) which is provably not the case because we have no government-sanctioned system of racist laws. However the term 'woke" became hijacked by the Left to justify a wide array of never-intended sophistically structured agendas: - Transgender females rivaling naturally-born females in competitive sports despite science proving its unfairness; - Males on Monday claiming they're females on Tuesday to use the girl's restrooms, locker-rooms and showers on Wednesday; and, -Preempting parents from learning about their children's gender-identity questions. These things are what the Left began pushing under the camouflage of being "woke" thus jettisoning its earlier credibility. Now Democrats run away from the term claiming it's unfair to attach it to their collective persona even though they have simply been hoisted with their own petard. They don't like the accountability? Too bad.
