Because of the pandemic this year the Christmastown 5k in McAdenville, NC was done as a virtual run. I decided to go ahead and run it tonight. Well, walk it really. I'm not in the same shape I was last year. Thank you pandemic. ? Anyway, as you can see, I had a running/walking buddy. Daisy Diaz helped keep me on my pace and I finished in 49 minutes and 28 seconds. Only about a minute slower than last year. It was fun completing the course with Daisy but I also miss the crowd. It makes it a lot of fun. I'm already looking forward to next year when we will hopefully have all of our friends back and running together. Oh, I also love the shirt design for this year. The past couple of years they have been getting really creative with their shirt designs.
