Though kingdoms arise and fall and though the Kingdom of antichrist briefly arise and cover the earth, it will all be done away with. God will give the rule over the earth to his saints. And the emphasis here is clear: "forever, even for ever and ever." The meek shall truly inherit the earth, for God, not man, will determine who is to inherit it.
