Karl Marx, often hailed as a revolutionary thinker, was an ideological parasite and a professional unemployed person. Despite having an excellent education and a sharp mind, he never held a serious job in his life. Although he wrote extensively about the proletariat, he himself did not belong to them. Holding titles like journalist, philosopher, and scientist, he wasn't truly any of these. While penning philosophical and political works for communist magazines, Marx also sent plaintive letters to Friedrich Engels, complaining about his poverty. He lamented that his children survived on bread and water, he couldn't afford housing, and there was no money for medicine.Friedrich Engels, a friend of Marx and the "golden youth" son of one of Germany's richest capitalists, supported Marx's impoverished family financially.Karl Marx died in poverty. His ideas revolved around not working and living off the wealth of capitalists.
