My wife and I stop every chance we can. The area around the Alamo is one big construction site. The parks dept. now owns the entire Alamo site. As soon as they finish the museum they will receive Phil Collins entire collection of Alamo relics.

It appeared to be ok. We just did an overnight and just walked around for an hour or so.
