Proverbs 17:4 - A w i c k e d d o e r giveth heed to false lips; and a liar giveth ear to a naughty tongue. WICKED DOER: Who is the "w i c k e d d o e r"? That's the person whose life time of wickedness is nothing more than a few regrets instead of Bible repentance. Their life's history is one that 'gives heed' to false words and ears that listen to naughtiness from others. When your life's b e h a v i o r has been based on or further through v a r y i n g lies, then y o u r life is n o t h i n g but a lie. When your life is n o t h i n g but a lie then your future in hell will be a truth. The Gospel 't r a n s f o r m s' a person from the wicked liar to a person filled with the fruit (not plural) of the spirit and not lies of the devil.Fruit of the Spirit: Galatians 5:22 But the fruit (Not plural: fruits) of the Spirit is 1. love, 2. joy, 3. peace, 4. longsuffering, 5. gentleness, 6. goodness, 7. faith, When you are t r a n s f o r m e d by the Gospel then the Spirit of God gives you a new outward attitude towards life and they are noted above (1 - 7). If the fruit of the Spirit are not readily k n o w n in your life, then don't make the m i s t a k e of only possessing Bible historical facts, which differs from having salvation.The devil knows the Bible facts/history and he knows his part in prophecy. All he is doing is abiding his time as he waits for God to release him to terrorize the world during the Great Tribulation Period.
