While this is inherently positive and mostly valid regarding self respect, the problem is the use of the word "feel" because "feelings" are exactly what has led to the overbearing sense of "entitlement" far too many workers have today.
Why? Because IF you are NOT skilled enough or have enough relevant experience or don't meet rational requirements for a position you should have it. Your "feelings" don't matter.
That said, there is nothing wrong with having #selfrespect and not wanting to be in #toxicworkenvironments
Just keep your self respect in check and don't let it turn you into one of those "entitlement" cry babies we are seeing to often today
